Mandarin orange and salt+1 or two years=throat soother. Who knew! At Chinese new year when the oranges are fresh, and my coworker plucks them, and preserves them in salt. You have to wait about a year or two, briefly, and then it’s ready. You mix this with hot water and honey, and your throat feels better. I am excited to try this out, there is now a jar of it sitting in the communal fridge. Learning new things at the office!
